August 20, 21, 22 - Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) at Norton Primary
Appointments for KRA Testing are scheduled via Kindergarten Registration link above (Final Forms).

Friday, August 23 - Kindergarten Orientation:   A-L 10:00am to 11:00am / M-Z 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Monday, August 26 - Kindergarten 1st Day of School



Safety Town 2024 is Coming!

Safety Town will be held at Columbia Woods - June 3-7, 2024 SAFETY TOWN FORM

"Weeks of Welcome"- Summer Activities

Popsicles, Playground, and Play                             

Join other Kindergarten Parents and Students at the Norton Primary Playground on June 19, July 17, and August 7 from 1:00-2:00 PM.  This is part of our “Weeks of Welcome” program and a great opportunity for parents and students to introduce themselves and try out the playground. Miss Mary the Early Childhood Librarian from Akron Summit County Public Library- Norton Branch will also be sharing a story with all of the Kindergarten students on those days.  Mr. Morris, Building Principal, will also be at this event for additional questions.

Please note:
In an effort to make Norton City Schools the safest place possible for our children, your cooperation in observing the following procedure is vital to the safety of our children.  All parents and visitors entering Norton City Schools will now be required to show your driver's license or state identification card every time you sign your child out of the office.  We recognize and know most of you.  Please realize we are following District procedure, and anything to keep our students safe is a good thing.

Camp Invention is back!


Norton City Schools will once again be hosting Camp Invention from June 10-14, 2024 at Norton Elementary School.  Camp Invention is offered to those students entering grades 1-6 in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Please click here for more information.
