Guiding Documents for Reopening of School

Norton City Schools continues to work with and through the Ohio Department of Education, The Ohio Department of Health, and the Summit County Health Department as we look to reopen our school district this fall. Here are two guiding documents provided by the organizations to help districts meet the needs of their school communities. These are not our official plans, but they are guiding documents that all Ohio schools are using as valuable resources.


YEARBOOK UPDATE - NEW

Yearbooks can be picked up from 6:00pm to 7:00pmJuly 20, 21, 22 & 23 in the Primary School Parking Lot - Your student's name in your car window would be helpful!           Yearbooks will be handed to you in a drive-through manner.  GO LITTLEST PANTHERS!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

 
Click here for the 2020/2021 Kindergarten Registration Packet - these packets are due back ASAP!  Completed packets can be returned, by scan, to [email protected] - Printed packets will be available, for those that can't print, starting Friday, May 1st at the Norton Primary Building.

We are pleased to share fantastic news with you that the Preschool Staff has earned their
Five Star Rating from the Office of Early Learning and School Readiness. 
Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a fiveā€“star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department
of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and
development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations.
The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes
for children. 

Norton City Schools Board Meetings

In an effort to make Norton City Schools the safest place possible for our children, your cooperation in observing the following procedure is vital to the safety of our children.  All parents and visitors entering Norton City Schools will now be required to show your driver's license or state identification card every time you sign your child out of the office.  We recognize and know most of you.  Please realize we are following District procedure, and anything to keep our students safe is a good thing.
