Food Services

Welcome back to the Norton City Schools Lunch and Breakfast Program for the 2022-2023 school year.  Our Food Service Department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to student’s health, well-being and their ability to learn. We will be serving healthy choices of fruits, vegetables, whole grain products and low fat or fat-free milk every day.

Due to the non renew and funding to extend the pandemic child nutrition waivers, breakfast and lunch will no longer be free to everyone in our district.  We will be returning to the traditional National School Lunch Program.
If their is a need for meal benefits assistance please fill out an online Free and Reduce application after July 1st. on our web-site. Families must complete and new application each year before September 23rd.
All children will have the opportunity to purchase milk if needed for $.50.

The lunch prices for the 2022/2023 school year are as follows:
Norton High School and Middle School
Norton  Elementary and Primary
Please consider filling out your Free and Reduced application online.  Visit and under the District Tab choose Food Services. Click on the icon “QuikApps” towards the bottom of the page to create an account or to sign in to complete the form for the new school year. Our on-line application has the same requirements, asking you for the same information as the paper application.   You will find out immediately once completing the application on-line if you are approved for free or reduced meals. Paper applications are still available if needed.  You only need to fill out one application for all students living in your household no matter what school they attend.  If you received a letter, stating your student is eligible for Direct Certification YOU DO NOT need to fill out an application.

We encourage you to look into PaySchools Central that provides all parents in our district an easy way to manage their child’s lunch account.  This can all be done in the convenience of your own home through an easy-to-use online portal:

Please call Judy Johnsen Food Service Supervisor at  330-825-6627 Ext. 1 if you have any questions.
