We Roar. Together
While the return to school this fall is not what any of us envisioned, I want to assure you the Norton food service department is working hard to provide healthy meals for all Norton students.
During remote and hybrid learning we will be having lunch and breakfast pick-up on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at either the High School or Middle School.
All breakfast and lunches are FREE to everyone until December 31st. or until the funds from United Department of Agriculture are depleted.
This free service only applies to complete meals. Individual items are charged accordingly. For example, if a student chooses to only get a milk he/she will be charged .50 cents.
Please consider filling out your Free and Reduced application
online. Visit www.nortonschools.org
and under the District Tab choose Food Services. Click on the icon “QuikApps” towards the bottom of the page to create an account or to sign in to complete the form for the new school year. Our on-line application has the same requirements, asking you for the same information as the paper application. You will find out immediately once completing the application on-line if you are approved for free or reduced meals. Paper applications are still available if needed. You only need to fill out one application for all students living in your household no matter what school they attend. If you received a letter, stating your student is eligible for Direct Certification YOU DO NOT
need to fill out an application.
We encourage you to look into PaySchools Central that provides all parents in our district an easy way to manage their child’s lunch account. This can all be done in the convenience of your own home through an easy-to-use online portal: www.payschoolscentral.com
Please call Judy Johnsen Food Service Supervisor at 330-825-6627 Ext. 1 if you have any questions.
