This is my 16th year of teaching. I have taught Reading, First, Second and Third Grades. I have a BA from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Pacific University. My family and I moved to Ohio 14 years ago from Oregon. I am honored to be part of Primary Elementary and Norton School District. I am truly excited about being a part of your child’s educational experience!
It is very important for a classroom to be a safe and comfortable learning environment. To meet this need the students will have very clearly defined rules and procedures to follow. Clear expectations help support and encourage good behavior. Our room will be center around three main concepts; Respect, Responsibility and Kindness.
We will be using Whole Brain Learning as we work towards these ideals.
Whole Brain Learning Expectations:
1. Follow Directions Quickly and Quietly.
2. Raise your hand for permission to speak.
3. Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.
4. Keep your dear teacher happy.
5. Make Smart Choices
